BRIDGES at Pahokee is providing parents with the opportunity to use our resource library as a comfortable learning area for their children and themselves. Parents will have ample of books available for them to practice reading with their children, or they may use our dry erase boards to practice their math skills. Their learning experience will not be limited to just math and reading though; parents may also use their time here to review language, social studies, and science. The GED, which stands for General Educational Development it is also known as a General Education Diploma, is a set of tests that when passed certify the test taker has met high-school level academic skills.
The E.S.O.L, is an adult education program designed to do three things: (1) develop and increase your English, academic, computer and workforce skills; (2) promote and foster positive parenting skills and; (3) enable you to become a full partner in your child’s education to help your children be successful in school.
