    The E.S.O.L, is an adult education program designed to do three things: (1) develop and increase your English, academic, computer and workforce skills; (2) promote and foster positive parenting skills and; (3) enable you to become a full partner in your child’s education to help your children be successful in school.

Parents will have ample of books available for them to practice reading with their children, or they may use our dry erase boards to practice their math skills. Their learning experience will not be limited to just math and reading though; parents may also use their time here to review language, social studies, and science.     Second grade students will have the opportunity to join a fun, interactive book club after school hours. The purpose of the book club is to promote reading as a fun, educational activity, the activity is meant to help increase students reading levels, comprehension, and reading/responding skills. Parents will assist in the program by actively monitoring their children reading their assigned book, asking about the book and making sure the completion of reading logs.     The Molina Health Care Plan will no longer be available and those individuals receiving Molina may be transferred to the new Medicaid product – Miami Children’s Health Plan. Join the BRIDGES Staff along with a contractor with Miami Children’s who is working to provide introductions and opportunities for the plan’s outreach team to educate the community about the plan. One of the myths thus far is that the plan is for children only and that enrollees will have to travel to Miami for health care. The plan is a family plan that serves children and adults.
